Europe?
Good god no. I'm swimming in British pools with British people. -

Speed awareness courses:
I don't know anything about them but my young cadet has got one coming up. Does anyone know, definitively, if he will have to declare it to his insurance? The internet is cluttered with ambiguous bollocks, who knew? -

If asked yes, if not asked no

I feel a bit old and out of touch asking this but...
... I'm using Flickr to back up / store all the photos from a smartphone. I then want to delete the photos on the smartphone to free up space.
If Flickr is synced will it delete backed photos when they are deleted from the smartphone? Because that is the opposite of what I want.

Maybe. ;)
In all seriousness what rive_gauche said. Plus I think now pretty much all insurance companies ask. Admiral does (definitively).

Are speedos acceptable when swimming as an adult?
In some bits of France they are mandatory
-

Still? ^
I thought that was just something they used to say to put the fear of god into English 13-year-old boys on school trips who don't want the girls to see their bits.

@rive_gauche. Pretty much what I expected. Thanks.

@mdcc_tester @Scilly.Suffolk when I contact SPNK about the bearing seats they replied asking if this is what I'm after.
I can't really tell from the pictures if it's the same part as in the picture below, or if it's what I need:

Any ideas?

If it has M10x1 threads and a 12mm shoulder to hold the bearing inner race, it will do the job

If I bought something from the forum, and I go to sell it on (because I have a bitch of an overdraft to pay back), does the public lynching commence at 1p over the total original cost I paid? Or is there a threshold?

Quite possibly, especially now that you have drawn attention to it :-)

What's the added value?

Well it's that Koga Fullpro, so I'm not sure.

I got a laser blade helmet - in the packaging were these little tabs (plastic or rubber - maybe sticky) - no idea what they're for...any one knows?
-
• #74668
Are they velcro on one side? Might be to stick your helmet pads on or something?
-
• #74669
Velcro on one side? If so probably to hold the padding in place

Any recommended route to cycle from London to Cambridge (Ely to be precise), I have no Garmin, just Google map on phone, which isn't great and always tends to send on MOASSIVE roads although set as "cycling"?
Am I in the wrong thread for this? -
• #74671
nope...hard plastic, ridged on one side (bit like a cable tie but smaller, closer ridges) and sticky on the other...?
-
• #74672

whilst attempting to do a sick skidz on this morning's less than stellar commute, my lockring pinged off and the sprocket went shortly after. got home and tried to put it all back together but the lock ring wont tighten all the way... gets so far and then just keeps spinning. i've fucked the threads on the lockring bit of the hub (DA 7600 ffs) haven't i?
can these things be re-threaded?
could be the lockring but seems unlikely given the fact that it threads so far and no further.
pisscocks.

Try with a spacer so that the lock ring may tighten before reaching the fucked threads?
Are you swimming here or on the continent?
