I don't like having a working device fucked with - I didn't update it for a reason - the other 800 I borrowed was on a newer version and went mental during a LEJOG recon.
Not that I'm racing any this year but if it starts failing during 24s I'll be very fucking unimpressed. It was the only Garmin I had that would actually make it past 12 hrs.

Relax. Mines on this version and has worked for 100% of my rides for the last few years
