No way. The base of my turntable is black plastic, the black metal faceplate works a treat with it. Buy buy buy!

Yesterday I bought a playstation 1 to mod as my cd player. Rad.

I've heard they are meant to be great CD players but always wondered if it was bullshit. Is it actually any good?

@Well_is_it I have yet to mod it! @Psy of this place has done one, it's a little bit of electrickery to remove some limiter thing which chops off all the high freq stuff for TVs. I wonder if I'll ever get 'round to it. I have a perfectly nice NAD cd player and a cd recorder which have sat in a box for over 6 years, I only ever listen to CDs in the car.

Until then I shall mostly be playing Tony Hawk 2 and Colin McCrae Rally.

This made me remember my chipped and modded original xbox that runs xbmc as well.

Does anyone want in here want it?
It seems like the retrogrouch place to offer it.
