Fair enough, my experience is limited, but I only got a ride on a MM. Event on p885/5 as a reserve (I had no PB) and a club mate didn't get on h25/8 for exactly the same reason. Lots of the slightly faster courses round here seem to fill up (with plenty of slow people admittedly) but without a time in the box even absolute weapons get priority over you...

@cjr - I would say the opposite, apart from the few very fast courses (ie Hull) you will get an entry, as very few TTs have a full field.
