Cheers chap. Will check em out. The Tonebender has a 9v wart in but it doesn't work. The battery is flat ar the mo and it sounds sputtery amazing.

I have a Mooer Micro Power. It has 8 outputs to cover your needs.
Have you ever thought of building your own pedal board instead of getting something ready and probably more expensive?

Alright kids. So my surf project is continuing apace and I've picked up a cheap spring verb amplifier. The spring verb unit is a bit crappy tbh (amp is a Fender Vaporizer) but I love it. Only problem is, it's feeding back like fuck. You turn the volume up on the reverb channel and you get this high pitched keening, even with nothing plugged into it. Mental.

Anyway I had a fiddle and it seems as though the closer to the wall it is, the more it feeds back. Is this a normal thing with spring verbs or does it point to a problem with my setup? I've never had to deal with them in a home environment so am a bit scoobied.

Maybe you are referring to another model, but the one I have has 8 Isolated outputs.

'Independent' outputs? Hmm... Why not just be done with it and say isolated?

If you notice below the Micro Power logo, it mentions 8 Isolated 9V DC Outputs. Maybe it is another way to state it for marketing purposes

Also, 300mA on each output is impossible as the PSU is only rated for 2 amps total, no?

Don't understand the isolated/independent thing.

Isolated outs means electrically isolated with separate transformers/taps per output, which means no (less) buzzing/ground loops/etc. It also means you can do clever stuff with connecting cables for pedals that need a different voltage.
Independent outs seems to be marketing speak for multiple output sockets and designed to sound a bit like 'isolated outs' which is A Good Thing for people who read a bit but don't know the difference!

@BleakReference ... seem to be quite a lot of noise/squeal/hiss probs reported with the reverb on that amp. Some say spray switch-cleaner in all reverb sockets, and/or change reverb cables to better shielded ones, or replace appropriate 12AX7 valve. Try those if you can, or else set out to meet a new amp techie friend?

I'll give it a bash, cheers dude. I used to build point to point amps back in the days (albeit from a pre-filled design) so I've a little tech knowledge but I've never worked with spring verb so it's all quite a new tech to me. (Ironic given that it's probably one of the oldest bits of guitar amp tech out there.)

I've been asked to design the graphics on a guitar pedal, can't say anything more than that right now... Apart from I'm really excited...

Be nice to have space to expand a bit. The normal Harley Benton is only a couple of quid more and has 8 x 9v outs and 2 x 12vs. Reviews say it's big but I''m guessing it could be mounted underneath right?

Word of warning:
The small HB powerplant has 5 isolated outputs.
The big powerplant does not. All the outputs (except the 12V ones) share one ground, humming happily.
I have both at home and have confirmed this through opening the thing up and checking. ;)

edit: For what it is, the small powerplant is really a bargain. It works fine on my setup. Although the low current may be too weak for certain effects (looking at you delay) or wireless units.

Can't you double up for a delay pedal on this? Isn't there a cable for that? Genuinely asking, I've been deliberating which power supply to buy for bloody months and months... Still nothing...
