Usually left on the shelf, in a pub, with the light on it, over a heat source, the bottle's all sticky underneath, served in a glass with a smudge, and a load of ice.
Or, it's pulled out of the back of the cabinet when you go to someone's house and they suggest a snifter. And you have to be polite, because they're not your best mate, but they're friends of friends, and they cooked dinner, and you hope (secretly) that after this there may be a chance to break out the drugs in your wallet.
