Ah I'll be interested to see how you get on with it. I've been tempted by one for ages but held off for exactly that reason.

I returned it in the end. The autofocus suffers as well from an already low point. Might as well just use the small DSLR with a fast 35mm and keep performance/IQ. The whole joy of the fuji is its (relatively) compact size.

Might perform better on an S or T though, so don't take my experience as the final word.

Ah that's a real shame! I'm using an OG release like you, so doubt I'd get any better performance out of it :(
