Both excellent bikes. Wouldn't mind a Moots if a lottery win ever happens.

I looked at the tripster againt the gran fondo ti . Its a bit heavy and the headtube a bit high/long for anything aggresive . The px pcknflic was next in line but it will not take mudguards . Thus i have gone for a lynskey coopercross instead .

Out of curiosity what's the big deal with disc brakes?
ftfy
IMO its a design standard adopted for disc usage on road bikes that works functionally and aesthetically. The difference between putting a disc brake on road bike vs a disc brake road bike. That kinesis is putting a disc brake on a road bike .. so is Mason in a way; Genesis Datum, R3 Disc, OPEN U.P. are few examples of bikes designed for disc brakes. You cannot be in disc game and say you don't care about standards literally on daily basis, you signed up for it.

That's very lovely. How much rubber does it take?

Last winter had 35mm knobbies with fenders no problem. I ordered it to accept 37mm in the rear(with fenders) although the clearance with them suggests that there's more room at the back.. The W-U takes 50mm.

Absolutely beautiful. Believe I came across this on Pedal Room some time earlier. Can definitely appreciate the gorgeous paint and well spec'd build.

Paintjob done by friends friend who's a car painter. Sadly pics do not do justice.. :(
Specs have proven themselves as good choices, so far my favorites are the fork and tyres.

Aye those tires look to be a comfortable ride. I had coincidentally set up my 1x10 all-rounder very similar to yours before even seeing it. I definitely appreciate a good functional build like yours. Those sliding dropouts are a brilliant thing to have on a custom ride.

Where do people in London do this 'gravel riding'?
My guess is, capable and beautiful titanium all-rounder with a great ride.
