Normally weight doesn't matter, yadda yadda,
If you're serious about hill climbs, get tubulars for October and get some other wheels for riding all summer and taking to Majorca
Tester, you must have a technidotal take on the Pillar CN424 no?
My take on it is that you've confused Pillar, who make decent spokes such as the PBA 1422 (their closest match to a CX-Ray, not necessarily my first choice from their range), and CN Spoke, who also make decent spokes such as the Aero424. They are both in New Taipei City, but about 6 miles apart.
Naaah. I want enough practicality that I can descend down mountains and not have to sew up tubs. Fancy wheels built for purpose.
Those DT R24s are very nice I'm sure, but they're also almost half a kilo heavier than my proposed build. Normally weight doesn't matter, yadda yadda, but the only testing I do is at > 12% for < three minutes.
