I straight out hated The Revenant, so much CGI of supposedly natural scenery, overuse of lens flare, Oscar chasing dross in my opinion.

Leo seemed to be crawling towards the best actor award I imagine someone was waggling at him just out of shot.

I didn't hate it, I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was like a more arty Gladiator meets Castaway meets Dual Survival (because unlike THanks's character, Leo's character knows how to survive).

After watching it, I don't feel Leo deserves an Oscar for it.
