I know right, took me a few years to find one that wasn't silly money.

I also had the 58mm/1.2 and liked that even more. It weighed a ton, but the images were just beautiful. I had a stupid accident with it one day, dropped it and something inside went. 15 years ago and it still hurts. Gutted.

Ouch! From looking on the Rokkor files it sounded like the 58 had the buttery bokeh, but for sharpness the 50mm just clinched it. Got any photos prior to the aforementioned incident?

Very nice!

Thanks! It was a candid one. I think on tri-x. I used to carry two bodies (tri x and FP4 usually) and four lenses, one of them being that hunk of glass. I guess I got a few nice shots though.
Your dog is such a character. :)

Love the dedication! I usually carry a digital and a film camera at the moment but I usually actually get the best results carrying one camera and one lens. Less faff.
Molly is the ultimate model, always ready to pose and cheap to pay in dog biscuits. I genuinely don't think I've got a sharper up close photo with my D3 than that..... dead reckon focusing is hard!

Haven't posted on here for a while but having a small clearout of camera stuff -
Konica c35 - Good condition but needs a new battery. It was fully functional last time I used it and no idea where the battery has gone. Would like £20 with 2 rolls of poundland film included. also just found the leather case to go with it and will be included free :-)
Canon A35 F - Good overall condition except but the flash charges but flash cover works itself loose which is annoying but can be fixed with tape or some glue etc. Would like £15 with 2 rolls of poundland film included.
Will take £30 for both or make me a reasonable offer as I need moneys asap.
Photos here as I dont want to ruin the thread with digi snaps

Here are two old c41 processed slides. These are unedited other than being slightly brightened.
I love a bit of dodgy lomography once in a while.

Thinking about selling my Pen D3..... but keep finding photos I like. It's just hard work getting them with now way of checking the focus.

Thanks. I really like this ^ bridge.
I hear what you say. I have just started playing with an Agfa 935 (an amazing lens but uses zone focusing) and like the xa2: whilst the hit-rate is actually good, it's just an unsettling experience shooting with 'guess focus'.

@miro_o & @mi7rennie
I'm interested in all this too: I've been so happy with results from my Electro35MC that I've started thinking of replacing my rangefinder with a Bessa L...
Whilst I've no doubt an f1.7 will increase your error rate (vs. the f2.8 on my Yashica) I've found it surprisingly forgiving and come to love the combination of P&S immediacy with aperture control that you get from zone focussing (I like to feel like I'm in control, but often can't be arsed with peering into a viewfinder and twiddling a lens) -

In the nicest possible way, your dog looks super scary. Still quite cute tho. And in-focus ;)
Absolute pron lens. Wish I'd kept mine.
