I had something from there which only had one chilli against it on the menu. Spiciest Fucking thing I've ever attempted to eat and there were things with three chillies against them!

Did sourdough for the first time in a long time. Still a little flatter than I would like but great flavour.

Had two pheasants thrust on me this Christmas. Mum had run out of ideas and we needed to eat in the next 30 minutes. Ended up flattening and panne-ing the breasts and served them as escalopes, with leek & mushroom parpadelle and a black pudding crumb.

Chinese New Years Eve food:
Slippery chicken, fried egg and crispy chicken skin
And just made a lobster, chilli, white wine and liguine number. Forgot to take pics cuz I was slurrrping it all up. I made a good bisque which the recipe hadn't called for but made it more delish.
Also one of the lobester was crammed with bright red, delicious jewels, Lobster cavia - which is considered lucky and especially tonight. -

So I made loads of beef broth/stock/consomee on Saturday... Straight in the fridge and made a pho for dinner tonight, it was wonderful...
Lots of beef neck and cheek meat leftovers... I've been sprinkling it with my BBQ rub and chucking it in a cast iron pan with a glug of oil then heating it up slowly to soak up the seasoning... My God it's good between a couple of slices of bread (GF in my case)... Best man-snack ever... #csb

Where are those dumplings from? Without judging you (because I like them), they have the uniformity of the frozen variety.
-

They are, Hongs Pork Dumplings from asian grocer Holloway rd.
I've done A LOT of taste testing of dumplings on offer from many sources. I like Hong's because their pastry is thick enough to crisp up well and hold in any juices from inside without breaking.....typically dumplings should come from frozen. Coz I ain't got time to make dumplings fresh!

wtf is duck and rice?
Oxfords a bit shitty for restaurants, tbh.
Edamame is quite good.
Atomic Burger is acceptable.
And above is decent.
