are you dizzy?! Climb lots = descend lots.

Just my impression that Evans wouldn't let me put an hour of power in with my own pedals? Might be wrong...
-
• #3357
Yeah. Really long gravel descent then into fast technical descent. Brake fluid over heated and lost all power in front braks. No warning.
Tried to talk to shimano, couldn't give a fuck.Would and do still ride disc. Was a freak thing.

If you leave them something like a wallet/phone or car keys I don't see why not

Can I use a cannondale c2 carbon seatpost with a saddle that has oval rails? Or do I need an adapter?
-
• #3360
Just compare stack and reach of both model, if the stack is greater on the new model with similar ( or less) reach, then you're sorted.

Just picked up a bargain CAAD3. Hard to tell from the rubbish pic, but it's absolutely mint condition, not even a chip on the chainstay. I've had a couple of older CAADs before, but only in the bright blue/red. Had never seen a midnight blue one before. Looks nice and sparkly in the sunlight! Picked it up as seen and fully functioning for £160. Found it odd that it didn't have the carbon slice forks?
I took a bit of a punt on it, and initially planned to use it as my commuter (18 miles through dark country lanes). However, I'm now thinking it's far too nice to fuck up, and perhaps I should make it awesome. Thoughts? Am I committing a crime taking a mint 16 year old frame and using it to cycle through snow and horse shit every day?

great purchase! a simple black quill stem and classic shape handle bars is all I'd change
-
• #3363
please don't use it for commuting

Yesterday's tech = today's commuter

I've got a Caad4 in that exact colour. I ditched the boat anchor forks, built it up as a budget road bike and somehow managed to get down to 7.1kg at one point without really trying. Great frameset

• #3367
Any idea what the frame weight is without forks? I guessed the forks would be heavy, so was contemplating chucking some HSC on there or something, but also quite liked keeping the colour match!

Nah just use it for whatever you want. Pop some PDWs on it or roadracers or whatever. It will be OK. What's the group on it? 105? Does it have an R number (R600 or whatever)?
That coda stem has to go tho

Can't remember off the top of my head unfortunately, but I remember laughing my head off when the forks were pushing nearer 2/3 of the weight of frame itself.
I've got some HSC1's on it and the front now tracks beautifully. @B0N0R is selling some 1" Alpinas that would be bang on point for it. DO ITTT! -

What would the hive mind think of this: http://www.cannondale.com/en/Great%20Britain/Bike/ProductDetail?Id=9f841221-d863-49d9-bf6d-e9a35c217876&parentid=201604f4-0859-4f57-8d7e-d93bd9e3a19e
But repainted in the Saeco colours, and with some gold rings?

Take this:
Swap the bars to Rotundo, saddle to SMP, flog the wheels and fit some deep carbon and paint it like this:

Yeah, hate the Coda stems, so ugly.
