I believe it fits all the lockrings. Could be wrong though, I've never had the solid type you describe.

Cool, thanks, just ordered one. And a vice.
-
• #3329
Get some softjaws if you intend to clamp the crank arm in the vice.

Finished my 98 CAAD 2, pretty happy with it.

Looks lovely! 7700 still my favourite DA group!

It's pretty epic. Smooth and great looking

I had it on my Cannondale R900 - nothing suits the original CAAD's better!
Also - saddle game on point SLR or GTFO (let me know if it's a Ti and you ever want to sell!) -

He got a 56cm - he has literally taken it out of the box and gone "its got the same paint job as your supersix" and put it away again.

Does anyone have a 52cm CAAD12 or (this years) Supersix - if I could take it out for a couple regents laps I would be forever in your debt and would provide wine or beer or whatever in gratitude! Wanna see if it fits as neatly as I think it's gunna, and a 10 minute pootle out of Evans ain't gunna hack it.

then you'd have to compensate 15mm reach

• #3337
150mm stem FTW

Amey babes I know what I'm doing. Plus a 52 would eliminate my spacer stack purely with headtube 😈
-
• #3339
More like 75mm
-
• #3340
JK trolling btw
You should ride a 52 anyway.
-
• #3341
I'll be riding a 100mm 😑
It's not about should it's just can now my flexibility is better and back isn't so fucked. Either way, I want to try it out properly before wasting a shed load of money.

Caad12 disc framesets drop around March/April - the black on grey looks beautiful, hopefully there'll be a Black Inc version aswell - £699 is pretty decent also. Will probably upgrade then if I get on well with the CAAD10 Disc. Disc FTW @MechaMorgan....

• #3343
I don't actually want a CAAD, it just has the same geometry as the Supersix. If Cannondale release a Supersix disc and hydro-eTap is out by then... Then we'll see.
-
• #3344
Meh - my carbon side of life is all taken care of for the moment.
-
• #3345
Why do you want disc?
-
• #3347
Why not?!
-
• #3348
Not cheap, light, pretty enough.
-
• #3349
dont be so hard on yourself.

Apart from the obvious advantages like wet weather braking, the main reason is probably not having to replace rims. I would never buy 💷💷💷 rims that I know will wear out over a year or so, but if there is no brake wear to worry about then why not?
Also, the weight isn't a problem for me, I weigh so little. The aesthetics are no worse than rim brakes and prices will drop ¯_(ツ)_/¯
As a man in the know - will the KT012 tool *FIT both the new 4 armed spider lockrings and the older solid silver lockrings? It looks, with its teeth count, to fit the older one perfectly, however I found myself questioning where on earth it was going to locate without slipping on the newer 4 armed/location point lockrings?
