Just heard that a girl I briefly went out with in my late teens died of a heart attack this week, in her early forties.
I've spent the afternoon thinking maudlin thoughts and remembering what a bunch of carefree young idiots we used to be.
I really want to go to the funeral, but there is a very strong possibility that another ex of mine will be there. Is there some kind of middle aged funeral etiquette for this ?
