  • My latest tipples. Both Bruichladdich, both single malt and single cask. The one on the right has been matured in a new bourbon cask for 23 years, the one on the left in a new bourbon cask for 9 years but it's quadruple distilled. Tried the 23 year old one so far, and it's damned good. Oh, and I also got a bottle of the Bruichladdich Botanist gin, but I'm out of tonic, so I haven't had that one yet either.

  • I got a litre of The Botanist from duty free and then got back and realised that I didn't have any tonic.

    I've never seen quadruple distilled whisky! When I went to Auchentoshan they were making a big deal about their triple distilling process. I even found the below spiel on their website

    "And it’s also absolutely unique – no other Single Malt Scotch Whisky goes beyond two distillations for every drop."
