I got a litre of The Botanist from duty free and then got back and realised that I didn't have any tonic.
I've never seen quadruple distilled whisky! When I went to Auchentoshan they were making a big deal about their triple distilling process. I even found the below spiel on their website
"And it’s also absolutely unique – no other Single Malt Scotch Whisky goes beyond two distillations for every drop."
My latest tipples. Both Bruichladdich, both single malt and single cask. The one on the right has been matured in a new bourbon cask for 23 years, the one on the left in a new bourbon cask for 9 years but it's quadruple distilled. Tried the 23 year old one so far, and it's damned good. Oh, and I also got a bottle of the Bruichladdich Botanist gin, but I'm out of tonic, so I haven't had that one yet either.
