Thank you!
I was actually just standing when I took this.
This link can explain better than I can: http://www.digital-photo-secrets.com/tip/4434/panning-motion-blur-subject-focus/ -

Cheers. I am familiar with panning but your shot was a great example.

I would track that photo bombing dog down and have a word....not sure how you can put up with that....(aesthetically)
-
• #12106
^^^ for a moment I wondered how you managed to get the shadow of a standing dog sharp while the rest of the background blurred...

Do you mean it's a crap water mark or being sarcastic? I won't be offended!
-
• #12108
Being honest I was being a tad sarcastic.....it draws the eye....future pics I will see the dog first....
.....something smaller maybe ?I think its because its an image.....digits are digits

Maybe more transparent? Or will try smaller. I know I don't really need it as I'm not a professional.
I actually really appreciate a bit of comment and criticism.

Yeah I guess most people that shoot RAW use Lightroom these days. I don't think it looks over edited at all.

@mi7rennie ..I see a lot of "professionals" not bothering with watermarks, they may have their name / website in the EXIF and / or IPTC parts of the files, but basically I think they just sue whoever uses their photo without consent.
Not sure about the legal situation in the UK but I guess one cannot assume it's public domain just because there isn't a watermark on it? -
• #12119
Yeah agreed, I guess there were 2 reasons for me adding them: I wanted something that was recognisable as my logo and I though it made me look 'pro'.
Neither of those really matter so I think in future I'll leave it off. Again I appreciate you guys honest feedback on this and my photos. I love this thread!

Go for it... I actually already passed them on, tagged on FB etc.
I think Porter reposted the full album on FB and odd shots on IG, as have the venue, promoter and BRR.
Do you know the guys? -

Can anyone help me out, I'm trying to find the name of a female photographer, posted here I think. She was from Belgium I think. Took some great night pics of streets, dark cityscapes and the like.
Can't find for the life of me.
