Regular or CFD?
-
• #1303
have you looked at the sizing?!
-
• #1304
Not yet. I'm going to, but I'm going to wait until I've finished building the P5 rather than getting one done on the P2 and then rendering it largely or entirely useless by switching bikes.
-
• #1305
Currently my other dilemma...
-
• #1306
Dunno, but I'm not sure I wanna pay another grand or whatever it is for the CFD suit.
-
• #1307
I don't have the original suit though, I have the bioracer one with the ribbed for her pleasure arms. So the saving is likely to be less than that? If it's only a couple of watts then that's in the realm of the 500EU jockey wheel swapout.
-
• #1308
Probably more than that, BioRacer suits are pretty poor.
-
• #1309
Err, no. What's up with it.
-
• #1310
Regular. I've heard 10-12+ for the CFD.
Standard tripsuit is basically on a par with the BodyPaint 3, but much more durable and with the pocket as standard.

• #1311
Your a BioRacer!

Now that I'm on an actual aero frame, am I even going to have to pedal?
Do you have a rear brake mount now that you're running a freehwheel?
-
• #1313
Was planning to just not use a chain. Rely on the push.
-
• #1314
Rely on the push.
Back in the olden days, you could actually cover the first 50 yards without pedalling with some pushers-off. These days, not so much.

• #1315
not saying you're fat or anything but weight wise it only goes up to 85kg for an XXL...
-
• #1316
I fit into the XL of their other suit fine and that says: 80-85 kg Waist Size 34-36”
-
• #1317
*inserts comment about poor blood flow here.... ;)
-
• #1318
It's not the skinsuit. It might be the fact that I'm fat but it's likely I'm just unlucky with the way my blood pipes are distributed in my left leg.
-
• #1319
I just find the description of the sizing's amusing, nearly as much as my wetsuit which says that I'm a Small Medium Tall....
-
• #1321
^ Well worth a listen.
Super interesting. :-D

Ride in your wetsuit. Super aero.
Mines an epic PITA to get on without help, as the zip starts at the top. So I fight with it in the convience of my flat before riding down to the sea.
I should get myself a girlfriend to help with this stuff. But riding around on a fixie wearing a wetsuit somehow isnt helping me here.

@hippy when you went single ring what did you do with derailleurs - just remember not to touch the front one?
what I really want is Dura Ace 165mm with 55x42 for faster TTs and IM Mallorca - long downhill section - but its not available so considering just buying the chainrings and putting them on my 6800 but it'll look a bit shit, but I don't really want to have to buy a dura ace cainset and chainrings at the same time as $$$$$
Unless anyone knows of something more aero available in 165 and 55x42 without making my q factor wider which the Rotors seem to do...

I removed the front derailler.
You can have my old DA 9000 cranks when you've found me a set of Hollowgram cranks...
Wait, what do you mean it's not available, yeah they are.
Buy crank arms and buy the bigger rings:

Campagnolo... Shimano Q is hardly low though, why not go square taper?
Had an AeroCoach session? Probably better VFM.
