  • Riding across a windy deserted place, for miles and miles, speaking to almost no-one all day, and thinking it's good to be alone.

  • Invited to dinner with the rest of the team, I declined and rode round Regents Park for an hour before going home.

  • When you're old enough to have used tapes for playing videogames O_o

Also apple watches, remember those Casio calculator watches? Yeah, I do...

  • rest of the team

There's no 'team' in 'team'. But there is 'meat'.

  • @SkullyBen replace riding for running.
    Yep

  • @m.f. Word. Had an amazing day.

  • Trawling YouTube to compile a badass playlist to show smart-arse youngsters what they missed out on...

... and getting lost in the moment and realising it's time for bed.

    Night-night!

  • There's also 'me' if you look hard enough.

  • Nice work!

  • The great thing about developing ear hair, is that you can now go to a Turkish barber and have it singed off.

One of life's great pleasures, up there with having a nurse remove you ear-wax with a mini jet-wash.

    Middle age has its compensations.

  • There's a young lad who works as a barber in one of those cut price hairdressers in camden who introduced me to the ear hair burning trick. Learned his trade in pentonville knick. Proper shave and a buzz cut for a tenner! Pay him 20, he could use a break.

  • I started losing hair at 22.
I've had grey hairs in my beard since 30 or so.

None of this really bothers me.

But I now I keep finding longish hairs on the tops of my shoulders.

Its the beginning of the end.......

  • Talking of hair loss...

Over the past 6 months or so, I've noticed my hair coming out when I'm washing it. Not massive clumps of it but a noticeable amount of hairs in my hand. I don't think my granddad went bald till he was in his 40's.

    Fuuuu, here we go.

  • I don't think my granddad went bald till he was in his 40's.

So... when he was still young then...?

40 is still young, isn't it...?
    Isn't it...??

  • I've had to stop letting the barber show me the back of my head to remain in denial of increasing hair loss.

He's been doing the eyebrows, ears and back for some time now - when he went for the nose recently something in me died a little.

  • I lost my pitlock key thingy. How did this happen when I distinctly remember starting to thread it back onto my keyring? Was I always so easily distracted?

  • Was I always so easily... ooh look, something shiny...

  • 40? Forget it.

Sell all your bikes. Its just not worth it.

  • I'm also developing ear hair.>

last time I was at a barber he ran the neck trimmer down the outside edges of both my ears, to take the fuzz off! when the fuck did that happen?!

  • Mid 20s: Hair started going
    Late 20s: bought own clippers
Mid 30s (almost bang on 35): nasal hair begins its descent

Not been bothered by ear hair (yet) but I'm sure I could do with a visit to the nurse to get them dewaxed. WHAT'S THAT YOU SAY? SOUP FOR LUNCH?

  • ear syringing is lovely feeling

  • Yep. I'm 36. Regularly have to trim the circumference of both ears with my clippers.

Edit: See I'm even too old to judge a new page fail..

  • When you're old enough to have used tapes for playing videogames O_o

I think I still have my ZX Spectrum somewhere. 48k rubber key version obviously...
