I read this article that talks about measuring blood insulin levels to find out what foods cause spikes and therefore storing more fat, aparently it's different for everyone. I'm tempted to buy a cheap insulin tester and do my own experiment, see what foods cause spikes and cut them out, see if it helps shed some weight. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-35193414
Interesting. I watched an episode of that show yesterday that mentioned some people respond to saccharine worse than they do to ingesting sugar, in terms of blood sugar, at least.
