So gutted to hear this news. Wayno was definitely one of the best, as the love and grief on this thread shows.
Last time i saw him I was returning his bike box that he had kindly lent me for my trip back to Aus. He made me a coffee and we chatted about bikes (of course), websites (his was in progress) and Gino's in Fremantle. You'll be missed, gaffer.

GSIAW is very tempting. At least a venue for glass raising this evening if possible?

his banned rework of the Penguin logo shirt
I'm wearing mine with pride today!

Proud to have called him one of my closest friends. Absolutely devasted by this. I miss you Wayne.

Really really saddened by this. Hadn't seen Wayne in a fair while but never failed to pick up where we left on conversations from months or even years earlier.
A true gent who will be sorely missed.Thoughts to friends and family x

Only clicked on the logo as I thought it looked a little different to rider down threads. No words.
First forum ride back in 2007 or something when everyone else was stood around awkwardly like plumbs who'd met up to go dogging and realised they'd made a terrible mistake Wayne was there being utterly lovely and offering beers he'd hidden in places you can't imagine. Teary. -

Never knew the chap, but it sounds very much like the world is a better place for having had him in it.

Very upsetting, My wife and I bumped into him in Bermondsey a few days before Christmas, I think he was on his rounds to see folk before the break and was full of funny stories about how when he first came to London he'd lived around the area, and all the stuff he'd seen then and how different it is now. We had the dog with us and he was smitten, telling us about his love for them.
Such very sad news, I'll raise a pint to you tonight big man.

FUCK. YES.
I remember him almost breaking down when he saw the video and realising that he'd fucked off about 5 mins before the weeeeuw weeeeuw went down.

Sometimes when I'm bored or in a hurry I just scroll through threads pausing only to read the odd post here and there. I never met BDW in person, but his avatar was like a 'stop' sign and he was one of the few forum personas I'd always stop to read.
My thoughts are with those who knew and loved him personally.

Sad news about Wayne!
I'll raise a brew in your direction!
RIP
Of course he wouldn't approve. When I last saw him we had a minor disagreement about some stickers I was making...(FFS!)
He said it was the wrong approach. I did them anyway.
And yep he was right...
