Give over, those wanky grooves have got nothing to do with the machining and even if they have, they look like they don't, which is just as bad.
But very much each to their own, I would never have painted the Dalsnibba grey and pink (and got my sunnies painted to match) and I doubt you would have bought an Eastway, then had it painted like a train :)
It definitely takes all sorts though, doesn't it.

EDIT - Sorry, just re-read that and it's a bit tetchy, apologies, I've just heard some really shitty news.
I disagree - the form is driven entirely by the machining, which makes sense when you have a pair in your hands. I agree, they're not conventionally attractive, but in terms of designed for purpose they do score highly - although of course I would say that, having three pairs.
