A 19-year-old woman attempts to save a tree from destruction during the eviction of The Chase camp at Newbury. Bailiffs cut all the branches from beneath her and she was left stranded without a harness at the top of the tree for more than three hours. The Sheriff’s explanation for the removal of all the branches was so that if she fell ‘she would have a clean fall’.
