fs: tommasini lopro pista 56 frameset

since i've to live i need to sell it.
quite a history with that frame but in great condition at the moment. main "thing" is that ST was replaced.

there's commont opinnion that tommasini made these frames from columbus air tubes which is not true. these are probably some columbus (in my opinion sl) prepared and customized by tommasini to oval shape.
most likely only fork is in fact columbus air tubing made of.

Why do you think these may not be Air tubing? The top tubes are oval the others are tear-drop usually- as Air.

all lugs are ordinary - rounded, tubes are oval only in between.

it's a common thing with these framesets.

As with my Losa and Tommasini and others the maker used Air and rounded the ends to fit standard seatpost and lugs much more practical than re-profiling standard tube to Air-like profiles. I think you could buy Air with standard round ends as an option .

yes, it's a repaint. ST and TT 56cm c-c. weight of frame is 1732g, fork 683g.

@Si46 maybe you're right. i don't know that for sure, it's only my opinion based on comparision with full columbus air frames. main three tubes of the others were more flatter than my tommasini.
