I think it's safer than it looks . The slip roads are the problem. As I understand it the concern comes from the fact that the dual carriage way on the A11 up to Norwich is now complete. So Norfolk sort of now does have a motorway . The expectation is more and faster traffic. Hence the belief that the risk will increase and that permission may be lost. I could be wrong though
I was a steward on it last year.. I can't say I enjoyed spending a Saturday afternoon standing on a roundabout pointing which way to go or not to go.
I suspect the bigger risk to events on the E2 it will be the capacity of clubs to organise and steward TTs on it.
That's the second time I've heard this. Where are the rumours coming from?
I've raced on it 5 times and felt 100% safe every time thanks to courteous drivers. Single carriageway TTs in Kent, different story!
