Technical question from me. If I'm going to build my new TT bike as a 1x10 (which is the current plan) is it better to have the single front chainring in the position the large chainring would normally sit on a double, or try to have it halfway between the positions the two chainrings would normally be in? Or doesn't it matter?
Gearing, if that's relevant, is going to be 54t front, 11-23t rear. It's only going to be used on flat drag-strip courses - I'll use my existing bike for more sporting courses.
