Synapse Carbon, 2010 or something? It's had a hard life. Terrible pic was halfway through the last long ride over a week ago. Needs a few more upgrades to full DA I think. Currently mixed gruppo, DA and 105 (originally 105, upgrading as I come across parts).

If you're gonna have to ride with saddle like that, then maybe might be worth investing in bike fitting first.

Saddle like what sorry? It's a badly angled photo, but the saddle is actually horizontal (rails are parallel to ground) if that's what you mean... must take some vanity pictures some point.
Edit, or if you meant so far forward, it was the setup from riding on the tt bars a lot with the current stem.

thanks, lucky find tbh, found an annoying dent on dt underside near bb shell, no cracks and weld integrity intact, never saw it when I picked it up and said to vendor, he reckoned he may have hit a tree stump and that did it, as he only rode wood trails on it, was 2nd owner I think
would like to use sram to build up, poss road group as will basically see commute duties / bit of adventure shit now and again so for off road ness, I can get away with an inner chain ring

Better to get the £750 hi-mod frameset and build that up with Ultegra, surely? Would probably be lighter than the Evo Red.

^ This, even a mix of 105 and ultegra build will be lighter than Evo Red.

...or SRAM Force for the BB30 chainset. You need an adapter to use a Shimano chainset.
-
• #3221
Yep, or even Rival 22 (on budget)!

Anyone know what's the max tyre clearance for the £750 hi mod frame on Paul's cycles website? I know this year's frame is pretty big but how does the previous model compare?
-
• #3223
I can only safely get 23mm tyres on the Shimano RS81 wheels on my 2015 Evo. 25 mm were too close to the chainstay for comfort. I think that the hi-mod would be the same. To be honest, I can't tell the difference between 23 and 25mm when riding.

I can get 25s on my 2012 standard supersix, with room enough not to worry about rub. That's on normal with rims though. Usually just ride 23s though. So I guess there's not much difference between the 2012 and 2015 models?

I've got a 2015 hi-mod and can happily fit 25c on 25mm wide rims. I've not tried anything wider but I think 27c upwards would start causing problems
Anyone got any SI crank bolts in silver or black kicking around?
