Small perennial wildflower meadow. I did a lot of research and am planning to use this mix in our garden, it's an 80/20 mix of meadow grass and wildflowers:

Provides a great habitat for insects etc. Super cheap as you only need one packet of seeds which is £6. If you like you can cut it with a scythe!Also not an abomination ;)
