I'll be there if it happens.....and my knee holds out! So far, four good rides since the end of November, but my fitness has dropped right off.

I wish, i got it all built up, was looking super nice...but it was just a bit too long, even with a reaal short stem. eyes bigger than my arms!

I got an old stumpjumper that ive ss ed though so just need to get some enormous mud tyres and i'm good to go.

Took my knees 9 days to heal up after my last off road excursion. Getting a new rear cog is TOP PRIORITY

if you do this sscx (caveat: on a reasonable gear this time) i'll join you - last offroad epping ride i did was with geared wankers and i was absolutely ruined by the end of the day trying to keep up

(to be honest it was just the ten miles getting out there that did it, but i'm still a bit scarred)
