  • Thanks guys. I drink plenty of water throughout the day, and normally top up after lunch naturally as I'm a bit thirsty from my run. Fruit or carrot sound like a good shout. I don't have a lot of control over what lunch is composed of, it's normally leftovers from yesterday's dinner (which my gf normally cooks) to save money.

Without wanting to annoy anyone struggling to lose weight... I weighed in just before xmas at roughly 68kg, which is lighter than I've been in over 10 years! I don't track my weight at home, but use my parents scales when I visit, and I don't really watch what I eat very well. Office snacks are the main offender (trying to combat that one), and one whiff of cake and I'll smash it into my face. Running more and anywhere between .75-1.5 hours of low intensity cycling to work (home moves, work stays still) have helped a fair bit I think.

  • If you really desperately must have something sweet and can't face trying to quell the craving fannying about with carrots or fruit, a small piece of very high cocoa dark choc tends to do the trick, and means you're not going to drive yourself mental depriving yourself of the good stuff.
