There were no high res images of the jersey and bibs, just the small thumbnail.
Both pieces were black on black on black on black... lots of black
I imagine it'll be released after the sale..?

Are you gonna buy it?

Had the RRP been in line with Pro Team jersey & bibs I would have strongly considered purchasing it. I personally hate carrying anything in my pockets, especially a rain jacket. But after seeing the sneak peak on the pricing, that is a tough tough pill to swallow for 2 pieces of kit.
For the same price, you could purchase Castelli nanoflex arm, knee, leg warmers, plus the SS gabba, nanoflex bib shorts, nanoflex bib knickers, and the nanoflex pro bib tights (7 pcs - 3 pairs of bibs, jersey, and all accessories) and still be under the cost of the Rapha Shadow Jersey & Bib.

Whats a typical -low- budget rainy season/winter urban starter kit? I want to be able to wear them under my shorts for 8+ hours on and off the bike.

other than the elusive name, what is the whole deal with this shadow business? Do you get some kind of ninja prowess to kick the shit out of road ragers? Or is it just a really black jersey with no place to store anything, a minimalist's wet dream where the spunk is colour-matched to the sheet as it were?

• #24046
yes.

Out of curiosity has anyone tried to nikwax/waterproof their Classic Softshell Jacket?

even the most expensive rainwear options are made from a plastic-feeling laminate material and are taped at the seams, resulting in a clammy jacket in which it is easy to overheat
Great advert for the PT Race Cape

It looks just like the name would indicate, so that you can remain hidden in the shadows until the time comes to attack the race.
Nice(?) but a bit pricey.
Sorry I am sure it was there this morning. Good luck
