Had the RRP been in line with Pro Team jersey & bibs I would have strongly considered purchasing it. I personally hate carrying anything in my pockets, especially a rain jacket. But after seeing the sneak peak on the pricing, that is a tough tough pill to swallow for 2 pieces of kit.

For the same price, you could purchase Castelli nanoflex arm, knee, leg warmers, plus the SS gabba, nanoflex bib shorts, nanoflex bib knickers, and the nanoflex pro bib tights (7 pcs - 3 pairs of bibs, jersey, and all accessories) and still be under the cost of the Rapha Shadow Jersey & Bib.

Whats a typical -low- budget rainy season/winter urban starter kit? I want to be able to wear them under my shorts for 8+ hours on and off the bike.
