borderlands. comes with added lols, plenty of replayability and loads of cheap as chips DLC.

Why do I feel that Borderlands (or maybe 2) needs more people to play? I've looked at it before an been tempted, but it seems to all be about team play, rather than something I could just play on my own. Am I wrong?

That was my feeling as well. Played the first one for a bit. Enjoyed it, but felt like I was wandering around a world that should be populated with more people than just myself.

It was one of the first games I got for Mac (That and L4D2) and I'm yet to complete it, but it is enjoyable playing solo... "teaming up" is ok but it's not vital, the story line etc is pretty good, I think it's just the visuals that put me off a little (a bit too "cartoony").
