I fear I'll be picking up a Gibson J35 after new year. I've been playing one at a shop a few times, today I took my Martin OM as a reference. I think the two would complement each other nicely. The 35 was brighter and less bassy than the J15 they also had, the former being noticeably lighter and very responsive imo. Couple of visual details I'm not too keen on, but something I expect I could live with. I really wasn't looking for a second acoustic, I just stopped at the shop to pick up some little people christmas presents. Anyway it's been 7/8 years since I got the Martin so maybe another one is due.
