OK thoughts on forks... It's a 1" so that makes things tricky.
Profile Design BSC / Kinesis Wedge are my choices atm.
Ordered clamps at Billy's so hopefully on the road soon.

Clamps here, been fork hunting a bit. Not sure a carbon aero fork really is right... perhaps just get a steel fork...
(apologies for the crappy shapping)

Right, silver hubs for the Archetypes on the way, along with an all city fork.
But it's white, so it will get a repaint.
Now, I can go for just black...or get something else done.
Black metallic, yellow...I think, if they do it, black with metallic then a yellow matching the frame inside the fork would look good.
I'm chatting to a car work shop don't know if they do any special things like fades (it's NI so choices are more limited...) or two-tones but fire away if you've any crazy ideas that way work :D

No fadez, keep it simple. Dark metallic grey matched to the frame. You could even just rattle can the fork with some auto paint. Rough up the surface first and give it a few thin coats.
I know I've mentioned these before but:
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/tifosi-carbon-road-bike-forks-1-inch/These 1" tifosi forks are fine. I've been running them on my GW for ages and they steer well and are strong - a bit lighter than a steel fork too. No need to paint either.

Tx ^_^
Those forks have a 45 mm rake, this fork has 28 mm. Had a look at yours, the downtube clearance is more generous...seems the HT angle of this one is a bit steeper.

Ah, forgot about the rake requirements. I'm sure the All City fork will be good. You could paint in dark metallic grey and fill the little triangle on the fork crown with yellow. Subtle, but nice.
have some colour:

Tx both are nice. Let's see if they can do matching & do 2 colours.

do you want to sell og forks?
-
• #39
I'll hold on to them I always keep things together
But there are 1" ahead steel straight blade track undrilled on Evilbay uk ATM in white if that helps. Search "steel track forks"

I have a set of those forks if you need them, decent amount of steerer left too. Lightly sparkly gloss black finish.

All City forks are off to the powdercoater. Satin black it is, as they had a sparkle but it was green/blue, so that wouldn't suit. They only have basic RAL so colour matching the gray was out.
No reply from car places...well if I must I can Humbrol on the ends/triangle myself in yellow.
Got a set of hubs, 28H Novatec (either unbranded or a very, very good copy) and black H+Son archetypes. I guess spokes are going to be, eh, handy.

Sorry about all the delays, the forks are back and the spokes are in.
I am thinking silver cranks/black chainring.
Not sure what to do about all the marks, I may go to Halfrauds for car touchup as the previous owner has already done touchups and Belfast damp+sea salt = bad news.

Wound ups are nice just seem mega bucks :(

Need to respoke the front, got the drive/nds ones wrong way around.
Which doesn't matter as it's a front wheel, so no torque to transmit from cogs & it's tentative it actually really matters in real life on a non-geared rear as there's no clearance issue.
But it's one of Those Things...can't be unthought.

Well that's the wheels done.
And it seems Nitto S65 comes in black in 27mm...so if I go for a black post, I may treat myself ;)
Now the stem hunt begins. Perhaps an integralter if I can find a short enough one in black/yellow...otherwise just a cromo welded stem me thinks. It's hard to find a nice ahead I find.
Sugino 75 in silver are in the post :)

Black / yellow cinelli alter...or black integrated combo...I think the black / yellow would be nice, thoughts oh forum? ^=^
(Assuming 10 cm fits but 90% sure its OK)
Slammed of course... -

Black intergrated - integralter? combo? Otherwise too fussy maybe?
-

They've a black integralter too, have to find out drop etc.
Time for potatochop when home :)
Tx, yep, been on lookout for that too, just low rake forks are hen's teeth for some reason :S
Modern crabon fibre all 43-45.
