i'll probably get it done sometime next spring in NL, with the euro difference compared to getting it done here i should be able to balance out the cost lost

Where in NL are you going to get it chromed? From what I hear we Duchties can't use the same process as in the old days due to specific regulations (nature, health and so on..) Our "zuiderburen" (Les Belges) can still do it ye olde fashioned way. Might be worth looking in to. Probably also cheaper than here in NL
