Is that possible to have pliers on it too? The leatherman skeletool is considered pretty light at 142g but 50g or so would be in the pliers

+1 for the Squirt. If weight is a priority it's an awesome little thing.

I don't rate these, broke two of them very quickly, pliers snapped clean off and the blade snapped clean off one.
To give leatherman their credit, they did replace both no questions asked.

Friend of mine at work made this from a now obsolete car part.
Maraging 350 stainless steel, so pretty nails. One of a kind, that's for sure.

lines starting with a 'greater than' denote quoted textIt's around 130g so too heavy.
The squirt looks like a good bit of kit though. As for it breaking I have had pretty good experiences with leatherman in the past so will have to see. It is very similar to The hesco knife I have currently which it would replace.

Makes a nice letter opener if nothing else.

I think you can buy the Mora blades as blanks for your own projects. To get this one out, I would tape up the blade with electrical tape to protect you and it, bung it in a vice, and hacksaw the butt of the handle off as close as you can to the tang end without hitting it. Then it would be a case of just trying to nibble away from the handle up to the tang repeatedly. You could try a long horizontal cut along the top of the tang and then a vertical cut to meet it just at the point the tang widens. Remove enough of the handle from above and see if you can bash the bottom half off.
A dremel cutting disc might speed things up but some plastics just melt.

I taped up the blade, put it in the vice and attacked it with chisels and hacksaws and whatever else I found lying around.
Didn't take too much effort to get it out.
Made this pine handle and a sheath but don't like em so have now smashed this handle apart and just have the blade kicking about. Was going to use deer antler for a handle but it broke when I tried drilling it, think it was too small so not enough material left around the hole. Will maybe buy another (larger) piece and try again.
I did polish the blade up a bit and buff out a couple nicks before taking out the pine handle
