Smash your ankle for real, then use the cane, you'll look like a boss and be morally OK too.

Boom. The philosophy of snottyotter saves the day again.

Don't jinx that shit. Once I needed an excuse so I didn't have to work in a store that was a bit of a trek from home, and the following day I was hit by a car and off work for six months.
Call the airline people, or just carry it - they aren't obliged to ask if you need to use it, and you're not obliged to tell them.

They'll probably take it off you when you board the plane and give it back to you when you arrive.
-
• #73031
Fine by me. I've tweeted Air Canada to see what they say.

Can you not find a sword swallowing course today?
-
• #73033
Feign a limp.
-
• #73034
I'm pretty sure, if the rumours I've read are true, that he's already pretty good at swallowing swords.
-
• #73035
snortle.
-
• #73037
Anyway, in your case rumours would be the only way of ever knowing.
-
• #73038
Yes, well, the rumours I've heard agree. I wouldn't want to touch you with a bargepole apparently.

• #73040
And Merry Christmas to you.

Do I post a laugh track now?

I got my father a combined walking cane/brolly from the same place, no flight for me however.
-
• #73043
Great minds, etc..
For the record, Air Canada has tweetered me back and one is allowed to bring a cane onto the flight even if it is a gift/not their own.

RideWithGPS - is it possible to change the start point on a loop ride?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jInLTTnMMBI
When I drag the green start marker it removes sections of my route. I don't want that to happen.

It's not really rocket science, just smaller.
-
• #73047
yeah but does it work better compared to a normal straddle hanger?
-
• #73048
Who know? it's a straddle cable.
There's two type, one that's loose, and the other that tighten the straddle cable in place.
-
• #73049
Looking at the photo, it look like the bolt tighten both the cable and staddle cable, look a bit of a PITA* compare to this;
*found another photo showing the back, look like it just required a spanner to hold it, and doesn't lock the straddle cable too, very simple, but doubt it's worth spending money on compare to this.

It's for cantilevers, so no, not clever.
Obviously I'd look super fly dope with a cane, but I'd rather not feign disability if I can help it.
