Cheers tester! Also, just re-read my previous post - I wasn't insinuating it was your fault that I didn't get QRs, was just noting that they came with the tubeless stuff from bike24.

I didn't take it that way. DT/Bike24 did you a favour by not supplying skewers, if they had you'd probably have been tempted to use them, and the ones which come with R24s are pretty cheap and nasty. They're fine for use with rim brakes, but the front disc brake is always trying to spit the wheel out of the fork end, so you need a decent QR if you're unfortunate enough to be stuck without a through axle for the time being.

Yes, if you're using disc brakes with 5mm QRs then Shimano are the only halfway sensible option. XT (M8000) are about £25 a pair including post from Germany
