Inject it through the valve stem
What's the advantage over just pouring it in?

Still can't believe I bought tubeless wheels 2 1/2 years ago and have only just bothered to convert now :-/

No need to re seat the bead
Downside of using the stem isYou'll break the fucking stem
You'll lose the valve core
Harder to add glitter
Did I mention losing the core?
The core will drop through the gaps in your decking never to be seen again -

They seated really easily with a high-volume track pump: so smoothly that they didn't even'pop' into place. I already took the tyres off once, so I could tidy up the tape around the valve hole ( perfectionist ) and they went up exactly the same second time around.
Going to assume that I got lucky with this rim/tyre combo ( Stans Flow EX/Maxxis 'Tubeless Ready' Minions ).

Until they burp out all the sealant at the very first bump.....

Where have Norwich forumengers been hiding their mountain bikes up until now?
It's all about the sheds bruv.
If anyone Norwich-based wants to do a quick blast around Mousehold Heath early in the New Year, let me know. I'll need to check that my tubeless conversion isn't going to kill me out in the middle of nowhere.
Yes, I'll bring plasters.

We should have brought a bigger plaster....

Registering my interest for this, although my attendance would be at the loss of @jdp as I'd potentially ride his Giant, which is my old Giant.
SS would be fine for Thetford, wouldn't it @BareNecessities? And I assume I'd need to be seated for the majority? If so, I may need to find a really long seatpost...

SS would be fine for Thetford?
While I often say that SS is fine for Epping, I reckon it's perfect for Thetford :-)
From what I remember about how the trails roll there, you do spend a surprising amount of time out of the saddle. A decent seated 'XC' height saddle would be advisable though.

OK perfect. I might just be able to get away with it as it is then. I'll keep you posted.

So unless you go completely wild with the pressure you'll have little chance of spraying your milky coloured goo all over your workshop. Fnar.
I assume (and hope) that you do your special tubeless set-up indoors...?
Also, I don't want to ever touch your tyres from here on in.

Thought I'd better bump this thread, as the ride is only one week away!

I do remember that bit being a good laugh. Quite easy to loop back onto for sessioning too.
Inject it through the valve stem, yo.
THEN RUN.
