I'm fairly sure your contract is with Amazon still, even if it's another company's stock. The receipt should make that clear, but Amazon are always very good on returns (I find) and if they're offering a refund it sounds like you'd be best taking it and buying a new one?

You did? I bought it from Amazon but they just fulfilled the order which means it came from their warehouse but it was some other company's stock. How does that work with the 'retailer' distinction?
