Abrahamovich must have realised now that Mourinho has lost the dressing room. Presumably because he's such an egotistical prick that he's claimed all the credit for winning the title last season.
The dilemma for Roman is a tough one though - does he back the manager or the players? He's always gone for the latter before.
-
• #121879
There's been too much dead wood in the past which he's chosen over the manager.

I think the real dilemma is who do you get next. It's also quite possible that it's the only reason why Jose is still in a job instead of filling the white leather seat on BEIN sports next to Andy fucking Gray.

Not really. Get anyone.
The real dilemma is who you get to replace them, i.e. the person you want in long term charge.

But then the players know they have the power to sack the manager. That problem will need resolving at some point, otherwise you get stuck in this self destructive cycle again.
-
• #121883
We've done quite well during this cycle.

What about a swoop for Pep?
-
• #121885
I reckon all those in the know already know where Pep is going or staying.

I just saw Brendan Rodgers on the District Line

Again?

It's obvious where Pep's off to, but could he be persuaded?

Go on then?

Chelsea don't do long term. Football doesn't do long term. Jose is supposed to be long term.
-
• #121891
He's supposed to be going to your rabble.
-
• #121892
I don't dispute that. Wasn't this time meant to be different though, in terms of longevity?
-
• #121893
And didn't he say that he had unfinished business or some such bobbins?
-
• #121894
Did lol at this 'Aston Villa's new manager Remi Garde is prepared to sell striker Gabriel Agbonlahor to raise transfer funds in January.'
Can you go player shopping with negative funds?
-
• #121895
I've just seen odds of 33:1 for Chelsea to go down.
How do I go about selling my £5 at 750:1? I'd happily take a grand right now.
-
• #121896
Paddy Power might pay out early.
-
• #121897
I don't think it works like that. No-one is going to pay you out on something that is still extremely unlikely.
But... you could hedge it. Offer odds on betfair or wherever, that Chelsea go down, that's higher than market rate, and see if anyone bites. As long as your position is less than the £3755 you'll make if Chelsea do go down, then you win either way.
Say you take a £50 bet at 50:1, if Chelsea go down, you end up with total of $1205. If they don't, you've made £45.
Obviously, if you seriously think Chelsea will go down, then don't do this.

Mourinho says his players have to accept they are at the same level as Watford and Sunderland.
Does he realise that Watford and Sunderland are not at the same level? It's time for him to start understanding how leagues work below 4th place. Watford are seventh, scoring regularly, and giving a top teams a decent run. Mourinho needs to drop the false modesty and try and find some real modesty, or him and his stars actually are fucked.

It's commonly known as entitlement

Actual lol. A liverpool fan talking about entitlement.
Excellent. There was already an article about it somewhere a couple of weeks ago, funnily enough.
Talking of top scorers... Vardy 15, Lukaku 12, Mahrez 11. Still behind Chelsea's 18 though.
