Regardless of which, even if the survey is genuine (the broadcast media regularly pad-out their content with sham surveys released by PR) then one thread in General is adequate, rather than spamming FBNPNA, stylish cycling kit and the road wheels thread.

Bit of an ovvereaction. Why do you assume its only to generate interest? If he does actually want some survey results how else is he going to get them?
I also don't think they deserve the rep of Halfords. I don't use them much myself but my Dad reccomends them highly. His office is right next to their shop on Oxford Street and is in there pretty often. Says they price match to wiggle/crc without even asking and are always helpful without trying to sell him shit he doesnt want
