• I thought I should add my experience of the Kinesis disc wheelset as seen a few posts about them. I upgraded from a heavy alex rim set and have had mine for 18 months or so, they made a huge difference. Very light for the money, i paid 230, have been used across 2 bikes for light touring on road, single track and canal paths. Also done some long road rides and commuted most days. I have one bike for everything. I have changed the bearings on the rear and replaced one broken spoke in that time. They have been great for me spin really nicely and get up to speed/get me up hills well. Overall for the money think they are a very good option.
