• Yeah they've been selling the same old (Dolan designed?) frameset for yonks, but it's a pretty good price for what you get and it's sorted me out for commuting, day rides and touring for a few years now. Looking forward to building and riding the Kinesis, but I've definitely got my money's worth out of it (and its 23c tyres) and I haven't really found it wanting in many situations, despite bigger tyres being all the rage these days (and probably better for a fatty like me).

  • Well yeah, the spiritual successor I guess. Worth noting that the Kinesis is £585, whereas the Ribble is only £150 for F&F. When I bought the Ribble there wasn't a great deal available in my size that'd take guards, a rack and have road geo.
