From that decade in retail I'd prefer to forget, yes, people really think shops should honour anything from typos to expired coupons.

Got me some cheap over ear headphones for use on the turbo from hmv at the weekend. NPNG with an alleged rrp of 40 quid down to a tenner so it doesn't matter that sweat will destroy them sooner rather than later. Obviously the sound quality isn't Bose or Sennheiser but hey they're a tenner and I don't get on with in ear buds

I used to give them full marks for trying, and perhaps a little discount if they weren't dicks about it

Alpkit are selling these cheap USB lights for £12; don't know if they're any good (the front one looks like it might blind you by accident). Be interested to hear if anybody has one already.

The make up of those LEDs suggests they would be pretty average. Avoid

Found another one today: Sports Direct (boo hiss) have long sleeve "thermal" base layers at 4 quid each and "extra thermal" at £5.50
Copped a few to try. This now means the winter wont get any colder than 12 degrees 😩 -

Decent material? Got nuff merino ones but wouldn't mind some lightweight ones.

Only tried the extra warm one in the shop to check sizing. Very similar to DHB winter base from Wiggle if you're familiar. The "normal" thermal seems much thinner. Will update as soon as it's cold enough to wear 👍

I've seen Muc-Off in pound shops: not the full range though.

I think some products are more costly than others ;)

Wore the standard base layer today. 12 degrees under a gabba and I'm someone who feels the cold. Very low tempo shop ride and it was perfect. Felt like a Helly Hansen Lifa. 10/10 would buy cheap again

Cheapest Ultegra groupset yet I think....
Five hundred eurodosh or less seems to be the going rate for 6800 down here. Would need to place order by phone for delivery outside BeNeLux(De).

Umming and aahing about cancelling my order. I've spent the last few weeks torn between these or some full crabons and had pretty much settled on full carbon. When I saw the deal I just bought as quickly as I could, but now I'm thinking that they're not really the wheels I want.

I'd take the alu brake surface
Nope, not at all, I was just being opportunist.
