The laser spokes are jot them problem. Used thousands they are good spokes but a stiff rim must be used and hubs with good bracing angles. Superstar components have those qualities. The wheel build quality needs to top notch as well. Even spoke tension and 1200N Ds rear tension. Obey the rules and laser work. Disregard them and the break.

I wouldn't be a bad idea as you're in there anyway. Actually, it wouldn't be a bad idea if Superstar stopped sucking up to idiotic weight weenies and built all their stock wheels with Comp/Race to start with.
