The Agfa is indeed Poundland 'Vista' - allegedly this is Fujicolour C200 repackaged.
You're right about the railing too - I've been trying to do all my shot framing in the viewfinder and kick the habit of wide angle shooting/heavy cropping, but there are limits!
Taped-up SLR is a good look in my opinion! -

Fujicolour C200 repackaged
That would make sense – the marking on the cartridges looks totally Fuji. I have some to try.

Cheer Rik,
it's the first time I've seen the 'flex photos - this particular camera is about 80 year old. They can be sharp, but the MF means the depth of field is soooo small, and the viewfinder is sooo dark, so doing it on the fly is tricky. -

smaller format, better film, sunnier place :-))

All the stuff I posted was processed & scanned by Snaps
C-41 process & scan to a 1.9MB jpg is a rather bargainous £3.30
They don't hang about either, I sent out the films on Thursday lunch and got the CD & negs in the post on Saturday morning.
Definitely recommendedThere's a big difference in colour tone between the Yashica and Olympus though, super contrasty and bright on the mju and very soft on the 35MC.
Here's one more from each:
Same film, same scanner/developer on the same day.

That's interesting.
Really cheap. I wonder if they pick a setting per roll rather than per shot? Not really a problem unless the first calibrated shot is atypical?
These look pretty good to me. I wonder if sometimes crap scans come about by someone/thing trying to 'correct' each shot when really the light and subject mean not all scenes should show the same contrast.

Lovely shots. Boat one a bit dark maybe? Love the little deer dude!
But who's doing your dev? You are getting a few dust spots - shame. -
• #10864
I did the dev and scans, I dropped the negs tho and got sick of spotting the boat one part way through (it was really dusty)

Dropping negs - the worst mix of anger and sadness. Doe it many a time.

Very nice - Lens must be pretty fast as I'm guessing they're both hand-held.

Love this.
Take care of your Hexar!
Best cameras ever. -

Cheers, yeah it was at f2, I was surprised they came out so steady as I was shooting on iso 200 film
-
• #10871
Thanks! Will do, enjoying it so far!

If the shutter button dies drop me a PM...
-
• #10873
Will do but fingers crossed I don't have to haha when are you getting yours back?
-
• #10874
I bloody hope so!
Lad I sent it to has said he has fixed it with a new switch which feels massively different - he says mine was indeed very worn, worse than most he has seen. He claims its firing 100% now and will be posted back to me very soon (needs to find cost).
Although at this stage all I know for sure is I mailed my very nice but half bust camera to a stranger on the other side of the world.
I'm probably going to end up giving him 100 plus quid before I see it too.

Just. Wow. Are you in Japan these days? Or still riding a holiday wave like myself?
Love both of these
