  • Will hopefully be down in a few weeks.
what about you? you got any new pieces lined up

  • I will most likely pop down before they go off for Xmas, I said I'll give Lou some pics of the healed origima birds, but it looks like a couple of the outline might need touching up (still early days to say though), either way, an excuse to visit them!

I have another day booked with Lou in April, at the moment, it'll be a hot air balloon with my cat in the basket, neo traditiional / Japanese style... I think... or something to do with cat. Then I want to make a start with at least a half sleeve, will be happy for Lou to do whatever, if she is.

  • Yeh same.
Do you know when they close for Christmas?
Want at least one more bit of work before the new year

  • @JB might be in Korea next year in which case I'll be getting something by Wan

  • very jealous.
    get a wrestling jesus

  • I am not sure, but I am guessing it's from probably 23/24 - 1st working day after new year? Like plumbers / builders etc...

  • Has anyone here been tattooed by Ruby at Sang Bleu? Got an appointment with her this Saturday.

  • No but her work is awesome.

  • just had this done, pretty chuffed, looking forward to seeing it healed and the blacks/greys setting in.

  • Liking the dots and lines very much.

  • Seven doors are having a flash day on the 19th of anyone is interested.
Nice little shop over Brick Lane.

  • Oh shit delalande is there!

  • Anyone on here suffer with psoriasis? I have a tiny amount that comes and goes depending on stress and season. It has sadly done a number on a tat on my ankle but that was damaged anyway when I smashed a load of flesh off it when drunk so hey ho, life experience and all that.
Annoyingly I noticed this morning that a couple of tiny bumps are forming on the line of my new tat(less than 2 months old so not fully healed). Never had a problem on that part of my body before so pretty bummed out about it. The bumps are less than 3mm across so it could just be slow healing on the tat but my paranoia is up over it!
Thoughts on whether I should be using my psoriasis ointment(prescription oily stuff that seems to work) or stick with bepanthen for a bit longer?
Probably more a question for my gp or a tattooist but thought I'd ask on here in case anyone has had a similar experience on a fresh tat? None of my other tats have caused this reaction..

  • On a similarish note. I've got Keratosis Pilaris on my upper arms. Want to get work done up there but worried it might affect the quality. Will talk with artists but jus throwin out whether anyone knows of anything?

  • How long before a session should you expect to get sketches, drawings and stuff. GF is booked in for next wed but nothing through yet...

  • give em a shout.
think dex draws on tuesdays if i remember. might even draw on the day.

  • yeh I rang today and dropped an email, but haven't really had anything back. Think they are gonna call tomorrow

  • will all be cool.
may even draw it up on the day with ya'll there.

  • Hate to get into the tattoo care chat again but, if it's 2months old and you are still using bepanthen, perhaps that's what's causing the bumps.

Bepanthen is far too oily, I use it for the first 3 to 4 days, and then switch to something like Vaseline intensive care moisturiser, which is more water based.

  • yeah, dont get why people use creams for so long. whatever potion you prefer for a few days tops, then just let your body get on with it.

  • Old Habits tattoo on Kingsland Road (Liam Sparkes' shop) have a £50 flash day today 11-7.

I can't make it but someone here might be interested.

  • I love the way he's done the river, clever guy.

It was Dave Bewick in Leeds, I know a couple of forumers that have migrated south have had work from him in the past.

Top bloke as well, rides bikes, 2 hours talking bikes, tattoos and travel, easiest tattoo I've ever had. Barely noticed it for the most part.

  • Also, bepanthen now available in non disintegrating plastic tube with flip cap!
