My current project, Romet Super from 1987, on Columbus SP. It's nearly finished, after few not good incarnations, just some details to do like mission impossible - find Gran Sport 27.0x230 seatpost (only one long enough for me from classics), some pista chainring and front pista axle for hub (running on spare road after thread pista came off...). It might be frame from Polish National Team as it have "Polska" sticker on it.

I got a pair of cheap DA 7400 wheels laced to some Ambrosio rims lined up for my next build. The anodising on the rim weared off and left an ugly, uneven finish on the rim. Is it a good idea to sand this down with some sanding drums on a drill (220 grit, taking care not to remove too much material) and finish it with 400?

Beautiful bits you got there! Always loved those calipers.

Do you know the cxp25's production years?
1987 was one of them :-) I have a feeling they came out somewhere around 85 and probably didn't last much past 1990 as deeper full carbon rims started to become available.
