I disagree - but it depends how your hands are. I have hot hands and so am in mitts for the majority of the time. Have been in merino for the last couple of weeks and still in them this morning. Was probably marginal today, but 5-15 degrees and they are great. Last winter I wore Winter gloves for no more than a couple weeks, otherwise merino every day. YMMV.
